Joshua's Corner

Labyrinth 2007

29-Oct-2007

Hello all, sorry for the long delay. I sent out an email shortly after the event, then disappeared; actually I went on vacation and didn't tell enough people. My bad.

Why did I take on this project anyway? I have often thought of that since I first pressed that record button. My thoughts are that I did it for the experience, which is a polite way of saying falling flat on my ass. The first version of the highlight video took a little over 5 hours to do. This did not include copying the DV tapes to the harddrive. I was not expecting it to take quite that long to do. Then there was the video composition which underwent several changes (many thanks to James Hatton at In His Likeness for doing preliminary review of the material. This has been a great learning exprience and I've been learning a lot.

Here are two versions of a highlight video for the event.

These are full versions not meant for distribution via this web site. YouTube would be a better venue (hint, hint). I will keep these versions up for a little while, then replace them with links to the YouTube versions.
